The Forest of the Lost Souls (2016)

Portuguese film, shortlisted for the 2017 Sydney Film Festival. The deep lost forest is a suicide resort in Portugal. One day, an old man who wanted to commit suicide met a girl who also wanted to die. The old man and the girl opened their hearts and hesitated on the brink of death. Then, the style of painting changed suddenly, and the girl cut the old man's belly and went on a killing spree. A sentence throughout the film is Van Gogh's "everlasting sorrow".
