The Illusionist (2010)

In the late 1950s, the theatre that was once popular changed, people were infatuated with TV and rock, and no longer paid attention to all kinds of juggling that had grown up with them. He is an experienced magician, decent and leisurely on the stage, but in reality he has to move to various performance venues for the poor cost of living, from luxurious concert halls to dilapidated and remote taverns, what remains unchanged is his dedication to magic. During a stay in a country in Scotland, the magician met a little girl who marveled at the magic, so she secretly left her hometown and followed in the magician's footsteps. They came to Edinburgh, life became more and more difficult, and in order to satisfy the girl's trust in magic and yearning for a prosperous world, the magician had to find various ways to make money. The film won the Best Animation Award at the 2010 European Film Festival and the Best Animation Award from the New York Film critics Association in 2010.
