The Last of the Mohicans (1992)

This film is adapted from the second novel in the series of American writer Cooper's Leather socks. During the Seven years' War in 1757, there was a fierce battle between the British and French armies in the North American colonies. Officer Duncan escorts the officer's daughter Kona (Madeleine Stowe) to Fort William Henry, where she is ambushed by French Indians. The last Mohigan warriors-Jinkaga (Russell Means), Ankas and White Hockey (Daniel Day-Lewis) come to the rescue. But when they arrived at the fortress, they found that it was in flames of war. Fortress governor Monroe and Duncan were tough and refused to let the militia surrender their strength and imprisoned Hockey. Kona was already in love with Hockey, but was unable to rescue her. The British army surrendered to the fort, and the Indian Magua led his people to seek revenge against the British army. After being separated from Hockey, she was taken away by Magua. Hokayi, Jinkaga, Ankas and his party entered the camp of the Magua people in order to bring back Kona.
