Widow Delilah (Kate Cappshaw) runs a ranch in the dusty town of Kansas. She has a difficult life and is hopelessly addicted to alcohol, cigarettes and sex. She asks a male rancher to spend the night with her every day, and these workers have no room to refuse. Delilah was surrounded by a withdrawn son, Feibao, who was completely under the control of his mother. Although he had grown up, he was extremely simple and shy. One day, the young and sexy homeless Hanley (Vince Farhan) came to this town and was introduced to Delilah's ranch to work. He was no exception seduced by the female boss for the night, but Clay loved the beautiful Katie (Ashley Judd). So he boldly refused the request of the female boss, but he became good friends with Phoebe. With the growing friendship between the two, Feibao gradually walked out of the small space of autism and began to know how to resist her mother. The jealous Delilah tried her best to make the two hurt each other, and a war of desire and anger spread out on the pasture.
