The story takes place in 1788, when George III (Nigel Hawthorne Nigel Hawthorne) leads his people and army to gain a foothold in continental Europe, and the whole country is prosperous and vibrant under the wise leadership of King George. However, one day, King George suddenly suffers from mental illness, madness, nonsense, Prime Minister Peter (Julian Waldham Julian Wadham) is very anxious, find all kinds of famous doctors, but can not cure King George, can not find out the cause of the illness.
