Adam McKay, the director of The Big Short who focused on the US subprime crisis, has signed up with Paramount to direct a biopic about former US Vice President Dick Cheney. Brad Pitt's "Plan B" studio will also work with McKay again after "penalty kicks into gold" and "big bears". Dick Cheney claims to be the most powerful vice president in American history, and he is also a model for Mike Pence, the current vice president. During Bush's eight years in office, on the surface, Cheney was the number two figure in the United States, but in fact, many decisions made by President George W. Bush, including the war in Afghanistan and the invasion of Iraq, were made by him. Cheney himself is a controversial contradiction. He has always been a conservative, worked as an aide to Nixon, Ford and Bush senior, worked as CEO at Halliburton for several years, and then joined Bush in the White House, but he is supportive of gay marriage because his daughter is a lesbian.
