Abby McWilliams (Rocklin) and her brother Presby are normal teenagers. Their parents Mark (Atkins) and DeBaer were killed in an accident. So Abby and Lauren live in Florida with their aunts Fay (Martin) and Uncle Charlie (Jones), which owns a gas station and an amusement park. Lauren and Abby soon made new friends in their new high school. When Abby dated Stoltz, Lauren also dated Karen (Price), the daughter of local Sharif. Lauren felt uncomfortable when he saw a blond man pestering Abby in a casual restaurant. Mark tells Lauren and Abby that the blond-haired man is Eddie Ducha (Spard), a teenage drug addict who follows a bunch of country thugs. Lauren helped Abby keep his distance from Ducha. Ducha's revenge became more and more vicious until Ducha's abduction of Abby forced a showdown between the two sides at the amusement park.
