The O.C. (2003 - 2007)
Orange County, located in southern California, is a rich and lazy harbor town and a sunny tourist resort. Troubled teenager Ryan (Benjamin McKinsey Ben McKenzie) grew up in a slum and was caught by the police when his brother taught him to steal a car. Public defender Sandy Cohen became his guardian. Sandy moved him into his home at Newport Beach because he was in charge of supervising Ryan's life. Sandy's wife, Keston, did not welcome Ryan's arrival. She is worried that Ryan will have a bad effect on her young son Seth (Adam Brody Adam Brody) and only agrees to let Ryan stay for a week. On his first night with the Cohen family, Ryan met Marissa (Mischa Barton Mischa Barton), the girl next door to the Cohen family, and fell in love with her at first sight. In this way, Ryan rushed into this strange world of the rich, but was excluded from his heart by his kind.
