The Rocket (2013)

It tells the story of the protagonist Aro, who is considered to be cursed from birth, who was excluded after moving with his family to a temporary village. Later, with the help of his friend Kia and his uncle, he struggled with fate and finally won the annual Rocket Festival with his own intelligence and courage, proving that he was a normal person and was accepted by the villagers. The film has a unique perspective, and director Kim Murdoant is one of the representatives of the new generation of directors in the world. The film was nominated for Best Film debut at the 63rd Berlin International Film Festival and the Future scene Award at the 18th Busan International Film Festival. Sylvia Wilsky is the producer of the film, and many of her works have been shown at several international film festivals. In the film, two young actors, Stephen Tisham and Longman Cosena, portray the hero and heroine vividly and impressively. The film production company Red Lamp Films, founded in 1999, has produced many highly acclaimed documentaries and films, which have been shown at more than 40 international film festivals and other major events.
