The Shrine (2010)

An American backpacker named Eric Taylor mysteriously disappeared during a trip to Europe, a seemingly mundane incident that caught the attention of Carmen Burke (Cindy Sampson Cindy Sampson), a female journalist who always went her own way. According to Eric's diary, Carmen and her boyfriend Marcus (Aaron Eishmore Aaron Ashmore) and assistant Sarah (Meghan Hefan Meghan Heffern) travel to a remote village in Poland to look for clues. Although he was treated very unkindly by the locals, Carmen couldn't stop the strange fog in the forest, the local mysterious religion and Eric's whereabouts. They saw the strange statue in the fog, and they were getting closer and closer to the missing Eric, but they also put themselves in great danger. The secret under the calm appearance of the village gradually surfaced, and the footsteps of death became clearer and clearer.
