Frenchman Andr é (Michael Galabrou Michel Galabru) and her granddaughter Jeanne (Julie Drumm Julie Delarme), whose quiet life was broken by the arrival of World War II and the German occupation of France, find it even more unacceptable that a room in their home was requisitioned as the living room of a German officer Werner (Thomas Juat Thomas Jouannet).
