The 91-year-old Noah is not deaf and blind, and his body is as strong as a man in his fifties. The 35 acres of land left to him by his father has not been unpolluted for more than 90 years, and his living environment is almost like a paradise. Noah's only interest was carpentry, which he learned from his beloved uncle. He is usually not very talkative, but the work at hand is finer than anyone else, so he is welcomed by the people in the town, and the introverted he is also immersed in this enjoyment. But unexpectedly, the peace was quickly broken. A big company in New York took a fancy to Noah's treasure land and vowed to buy it, but old Noah was not tempted by money and was unwilling to sell his ancestral property no matter how high the price. This made it difficult for the staff responsible for the acquisition of land in the company, who came to the countryside to lobby, but strangely enough, they were infected by the old Noah's unique philosophy and gave up their jobs to pursue the life they wanted. When Nielsen, the general manager of the company, learned of this, he decided to deal with the matter himself, and soon a series of careful plans began to be implemented. Nielsen thought that the only feasible way was to prove that old Noah was suffering.
