The Spitfire Grill (1996)

Summary of the story: Percy is an unfortunate girl. At the age of twelve, her mother made a new boyfriend, and her nightmare began. At the age of sixteen, his stepfather got Percy pregnant and killed his newborn baby when he was drunk. The unbearable Percy finally broke out the anger that had been depressed for a long time and killed his stepfather. A few years later, Percy was released early because of her good performance in prison, facing a series of questions such as whether society would accept her. A girl who just got out of prison, in order to start all over again, moved to a remote town one night, hoping to forget everything. With the help of the town police chief, Percy came to work in a restaurant. Hannah, a lone old lady from the barbecue shop, took her in, and she felt as if she had a chance to be reborn again. However, the simple town is slowly surging as a result. The news that a criminal waiter had arrived at the barbecue shop soon spread all over the small town, and many gossip people went out to have a look. And Percy did not hide the news that he had been in prison and calmly faced everyone. The old lady Hannah did her best to protect the injured girl and gave her full trust, while working at the barbecue restaurant, Percy and Hannah.
