The Witness (2015)
A documentary about "treading the blood to find the plum". Kitty Genovese was killed in cold blood in front of his home in Queens in 1964, which dealt a heavy blow to his brother William. Time magazine brought up the old story again in 2004. The murder lasted 35 minutes and 38 witnesses stood idly by. James Solomon then picked up the camera and accompanied William all the way to discover the truth. Is it the apathy of the people in New York, the careless investigation at that time, or the exaggeration and misrepresentation of the report? William persevered to get in touch with the murderer in prison, but also found that his sister's homosexual identity, as he can not get out of the sister's lover comrades. It is really a timely witness of William's angry life along the way, very experienced and shocking.
