In a remote village in southern India, Century Gowda died at the age of 101. three generations of his descendants reacted differently. His son Gadappa is an old man, always smoking cheap cigarettes and drinking brandy, doing nothing in the fields every day; at the same time, his grandson Thamanna is an open-minded peddler planning to illegally sell Century Gowda's five acres of land; and his great-grandson Abhi is a sunny and confident young man who relentlessly pursues a shepherd girl. Three storylines are intertwined at Century Gowda's funeral on the eleventh day after his death.
