Tip Top (2013)

Adapted from the Welsh writer Bill James's novel of the same name, two maverick female investigators with their own eccentricities come to a small French town to investigate the murder of an Algerian informant, setting off a series of chain reactions. One ferocious spirit attacked everywhere, and the other watched cheerfully and forcefully. It was perfect. The seemingly ridiculous farce reflects many social problems in France at present. It was specially mentioned by the director's biweekly French Writers and Composers Association Award at the 66th Cannes Film Festival.
