Two manic depressive patients meet in a mental hospital and begin a romantic relationship that shows all their beauty and fear. One day, Kara was re-admitted to a psychiatric nursing home because of emotional instability, while Marco was admitted to the same hospital because of a morbid relapse. Although the initial impression was not very good, Carla and Marco, both poets, soon sparked a frenzy. The love of literature, the passion for creation, and the understanding of the universe and nature that are different from ordinary people make them become unique confidants in the world, enjoying each other's passion and beauty. However, through the rational eyes of the doctor, we can see more of the madness and danger behind this beauty.
