Tread (2020)

Doug Riemann will be involved in the documentary "Tread," directed by Paul Solet ("Martian Age" and "Halloween Legend"), produced by Glen Zipper and Sean Stuart, and promoted by Great Point Media in Cannes. About 2004, American welder Marvin John Heemeyer was so angry over a zoning dispute that he retrofitted a Komatsu D355A bulldozer with reinforced concrete, loaded with high-power weapons, including 50-caliber sniper rifles with armour-piercing projectiles, and used this "self-made tank" to demolish City Hall, the house of the former mayor and other buildings in Granby, Colorado. When the bulldozer was trapped in the basement of a gambling store, Heemeyer ended his life with a pistol. It took eight hours for local police, Colorado patrols, forestry departments and special forces to dismantle the bulldozer and carry Heemeyer's body.
