The film is set in Berlin today, and the heroine Wendini is a consultant to the Urban Development Board. Her current boyfriend suddenly broke up when an old curse seemed to be about to be fulfilled. In medieval legends, Wendini was an elf in the water. If the man who married them betrayed them, they would kill the man and return to the water. The heroine of the film wanted to resist the curse and left Berlin. At this point she met Christopher, an industrial diver working in the reservoir area of western Germany. Two people are in love. It wasn't long before Christopher sensed that Wendini seemed to be running away from something and felt betrayed. "Wendini" is the first installment of the Elemental Elf trilogy planned by director Peezold. The next two films will deal with Silf, the air elf, and Norm, the earth elf.
