Virus (1980)

On an island in New Canaa, the chemical plant experiment resurrected dead rats and turned the laboratory building into zombies after biting the staff. Four SWAT members collectively went to New Guinea to investigate the incident. After arriving in a small town, they met a group of reporters who interviewed the cause of the accident. As a result, one of them was bitten by a corpse. When the child was lying in his father's arms to rest in the car, someone opened the car door and found that the child had become a zombie and was eating his father's wife. In the church, the priest was also found to have become a zombie. When they arrived at the local indigenous tribes, there was also an incident of zombies eating indigenous people. After a series of escaping for their lives, they finally came to the experimental building and finally found that it was the experimental accident, the gas leak, that led to the zombies, which, of course, including the hero and heroine, were not spared. Bruno Mattei, the director of the film, said in the behind-the-scenes tidbits that the film is mixed with some shadows of "Dawn of the Dead", such as the appearance of a large group of corpses, and that they have to take the lead before they die.
