Visages villages (2017)
The 42nd Toronto International Film Festival (2017) documentary audience Choice Award, directed by French New Wave grandmother Agnes Valda and street artist JR, accompanied two men driving JR's minivan through French villages. Along the way, they photographed the people they met, and then daubed billboard-sized portraits on the walls of houses and factories. Has applied for an Oscar for best documentary.
