On the morning of June 18, 1815, troops under the command of the Duke of Wellington gathered at a camp in a small town called Waterloo in Belgium. The continuous rain brought pain, humidity and cold to the soldiers. But the soldiers will be grateful for the heavy rain that began the night before, because this summer torrential rain has not only saved many lives, but also is about to rewrite the history of Europe, where ── Waterloo Battlefield. In the battle of Waterloo, the French army led by Napoleon alone resisted the allies led by Austria, Prussia, Russia and Britain. Napoleon was confident and contemptuous of the enemy. He has never played against Wellington and he believes Wellington will not resist at Waterloo. He expected a single attack to drive Wellington off the ridge and force him back. So he didn't expect a big battle at all. At the beginning of the war, it was not easy for France to defeat the British vanguard, but the strength of the French army had been largely weakened. As the coalition got closer to the French, the morale of the French declined and there was a stir in the army. Soon, the French were completely defeated, and the battle ended after a whole day.
