While at War (2019)

Spain, summer of 1936. Famous writer Miguel de Unamuno has decided to publicly support a military uprising that is expected to clean up the chaos in the country. He was immediately fired by the Republican administration and was no longer president of Salamanca University. At the same time, General Franco managed to join his troops in the rebel front and privately prepared to become commander-in-chief of the war. Faced with the bloodshed caused by the conflict and the imprisonment of his colleagues, Unamuno began to question his original position and principles. After Franco moved his headquarters to Salamanca and was appointed head of state, Unamuno went to his residence and made a request.
