Gordon Liddy (Justin Theroux) accidentally overthrew the presidency they were trying to protect. Nixon has a team called Plumber / White House Plumbers, which collects intelligence on political opponents, discredits opponents, and prevents insiders from revealing information. E. Howard Hunt and G. Gordon Liddy are the commanders of the team.
