Xin Shang Hai tan (1996)
Xu Wenqiang (Zhang Guorong), a young officer, was ambushed and fell into the sea by Japanese agents on his way to escape. He fainted when he floated to the shore of the Bund. Ding Li (Andy Lau) tried to save him by subconscious force, and the two became friends after a fight. After Ding Li accidentally saved Feng Chengcheng (serenity), the daughter of Shanghai tycoon Feng Jingyao (Wu Xingguo), he made a wish to marry her as his wife, but the dream goddess of Xiang Wang only regarded him as a good friend. What he loved was his good brother Xu Wenqiang, whom he met on the train during a trip, and Xu Wenqiang took a liking to her because of her bravery, kindness and wit. When Xu Wenqiang met Feng Chengcheng again, his passion could not be controlled, and his friendship with Ding Li came to an end. When Xu Wenqiang discussed marriage with Feng Chengcheng, Xu Wenqiang unexpectedly found that Feng Jingyao was behind the hunt for him and his colleagues, and his identity was recognized by the other side, and the smell of gunpowder immediately pervaded the room.
