Yossi (2012)

Ten years after my Lover in the Army, Yossi (O'Hardner Ohad Knoller) has become a cardiologist, anesthetizing himself with work every day and living a solitary life, dwelling on the love he loved ten years ago. By chance, he met a mysterious woman who turned out to be the key to uncovering the scars of the past. Yossi decided to go south to the seaside and met a group of young Israeli recruits on the way. The confident and open gay soldier Tom (Oz Ze Harvey Oz Zehavi) makes Yossi start to look back at the gay world he never thought of, and he finds that he still longs for a true love. Israeli director Ito Fox used "my Lover in the Army" to talk about the unforgettable love in the army, but when the dead became a romantic legend, those left behind had to face the inner emptiness alone. The sequel uses the original team to present a sincere emotion again. This film was shortlisted for best feature film at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival.
