Detective novelist Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion Nathan Fillion) becomes acquainted with NYPD Kate Beckett (Stana Katic Stana Katic) from a serial homicide and has a strong interest in her. Despite Beckett's strong opposition, Castle eventually relied on his well-developed connections to stay with the NYPD and follow Beckett to find inspiration for writing. In the constant bickering and friction, the two people with very different personalities and backgrounds have gradually developed a tacit understanding and become the best partner worthy of the name. But despite Beckett's opposition, Castle privately investigated the murder of Beckett's mother many years ago, which once led to a stalemate in their relationship. When the "freewheeling" and "free and loose" style of Richard contradicts the procedural conservative style of Beckett, arguments follow and sparks follow. Is it dangerous or romantic?
