A Bronx Tale (1993)

In the 1960s, the Bronx, where the Italians of New York gathered. Mafia boss Sidney (Chazz Palmin Terry Chazz Palminteri) is a famous local gang figure. At the scene of a murder, nine-year-old boy Anu (Francis Capra Francis Capra) witnessed it. For the sake of the reputation of the neighborhood, Anu refused to confess that the killer was Sidney, which prompted them to develop a friendship like a father and son. However, Anu's father Rolanson (Robert de Niro Robert De Niro) does not approve of this, lest his son go astray. Eight years later, the 17-year-old Anu (Lilo Blancato Lillo Brancato) has grown into a handsome teenager. Sidney's power is gradually expanding, Anu worships Sidney more and more, and yearns for gang life more. The honest and upright Rolanson became more and more worried about his son. The debut film the Story of the Bronx directed by Oscar-winning actor Robert de Niro was shortlisted for the Golden Lion Award at the 50th Venice International Film Festival in 1993.
