These days, the children on Em Street are having the same nightmare. In the dream, a strange man with a scary scar on his face and steel claw gloves was torturing them. The children on Em Street died one after another. Nancy (Heather Landenkamp Heather Langenkamp)'s best friends are all strangely dead, and she thinks it must have something to do with the nightmare. So Nancy launched an investigation. After investigation, it is found that the weirdo in the dream is the perverted Freddy (Robert England Robert Englund) who was burned to death by angry parents for harassing children. After many years, Freddy's ghost came back to avenge the children! In order not to be killed, Nancy must stay awake and get rid of Freddy before she can't hold it.
