Animals Are Beautiful People (1974)
This documentary by the famous South African director Jamie Uys introduces the animal residents of the red and white desert, the oasis and the Kalihari Desert in Namibia from west to east. The director showed the baboon family's sand acrobatics, the young weaver bird who was forced to rework by his fiancee, and the animals who ate rotten fermented fruit and got drunk. At the same time, there is also a sad passage that is naturally eliminated during the severe dry season-pelican parents have to abandon their children who have not yet learned to fly, leaving rows of shriveled young bodies on the cracked ground.
