Born Free (1966)

The story begins in 1937 when young Joey (Virginia McKenna Virginia McKenna) goes to Kenya for a holiday. In the Kenyan tropical forest, Joey sees all kinds of exotic beasts, which fascinate Joey, who decisively divorces her husband and marries George (Bill Travers Bill Travers), the local hunting superintendent, and stays in this magical land. One day, George was attacked by a lioness while on patrol. George had to shoot the lioness to save her life. After that, he found that the lioness had left three uncared for cubs. George sent two of the healthier ones to the zoo, leaving the weak and sickly one to Joey's care, and the couple named him Elsa, so Elsa became their real child.
