Goodbye, my bridegroom is a touching love story between gay youth Sean Pitney Cronn (Shane Bitney Crone) and Tom Bradglu (Tom Bridegroom). They were deeply in love and had considered getting married, raising children and starting a family, but all possibilities came to naught when Tom accidentally fell off the roof on May 7, 2011. Sean could not go to the hospital to see Tom for the last time. He had no right to dispose of Tom's belongings. He was even forbidden to attend Tom's funeral, all because he was not Tom's "family" and their relationship was not legally recognized. On the first anniversary of Tom's death in 2012, Sean uploaded a video of his misfortune to YouTube, which caused a huge response around the world, which eventually led to the birth of the film "good-bye, my groom." Goodbye, my bridegroom won the Best documentary Award for audience votes at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
