Céleste (1980)

In 1914, as people went to war, Marcel Proust hired C é leste Albatrett as a waiter. More than eight years later, she stood beside him when he died. Throughout the process, she entered his room only when he called her, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., until the night when he was writing. Marcel didn't just use her as a servant: she was the muse of the muse, telling stories of her childhood to evoke memories of the past. She doesn't fit in with him when he manipulates the works he wants to create for his work. She was shocked by his description of the bottom of Paris. Her life is full of love and dedication because he wants to buy time to finish the work before he dies.
