Beverly (Jeremy Irons Jeremy Irons) and Elliot (Jeremy Irons Jeremy Irons) are twin brothers who look very similar but have very different personalities. When they grew up, the two men, who had been keen on studying the structure of women's bodies since childhood, became gynaecologists, co-operating a gynecology clinic, introverted Beverly and extroverted and confident Elliot. The brothers' careers are getting back on track. One day, an actress named Claire (Jennifer Bucho Genevi è ve Bujold) walks into the brothers' clinic. She wants to have a child, but can't get pregnant because of physical deformities. Both Elliot and Beverly had sex with Claire, and Beverly fell deeply in love with Claire, but Claire, who didn't know the truth, thought they were the same person. With the revelation of the truth, Beverly moved to Claire's place and began to live together with her.
