In 1858, two years before the American Civil War. German bounty hunter Kim Schultz (Christopher Waltz Christoph Waltz) buys black slave Django (Jamie Fox Jamie Foxx) from a slave trader to set him free. Schultz actually wanted to train Django into a lawless bounty hunter to arrest all kinds of wanted criminals in exchange for reward. Django's only condition is the rescue of his wife Bloom Hilda (Kelly Washington Kerry Washington) from the tyrannical candy manor Calvin Candy (Leonardo DiCaprio Leonardo DiCaprio). This film is Quentin's tribute to Tiago, a classic Italian western directed by Sergio Corbussy in 1966. Ghost director ruffian Quentin sharpens a sword for three years, and another masterpiece after "shameless bastards". This film continues Quentin's usual low-key and luxurious style, with fantastic humorous elements and bloody wild action scenes everywhere, as well as strong group plays and luxury casinos. The liberated Django won the 85th Oz.
