Gift Horse (1952)

In 1940, the United States gave Britain three old destroyers, one of which was affectionately called "the Gift of the Horse". In the subsequent battle of the Atlantic Ocean, the three ancient ships, under the boldest command of Lieutenant Commander Fraser (Howard), acted decisively to form commandos to raid the Germans, until they were all tragically and heroically captured and no longer copied. It is known as "glory at sea."
