The heroic battle story of the 422th infantry regiment of American Japanese in world war II to the European battlefield. Several of the main roles are played by real people of the 422 Infantry Regiment. Background Information during World War II, the 442nd Infantry Regiment was another Japanese-American force personally announced by President Roosevelt on February 1, 1943, with three infantry battalions, 522nd field artillery battalion, 232nd engineering company, anti-tank artillery company, Cannon artillery company, secret service company and service company. The difference is that this unit is a volunteer force. Most of the volunteers came directly from Japanese detention camps in the United States. The 100th Infantry Battalion was incorporated into the 442nd regiment as the 1st Battalion (the original 1st Battalion stayed in the country to continue to undertake training tasks). The 100th Battalion / 442nd Regiment was the most decorated US force during World War II: a total of 18000 people in the department were honored for their meritorious service, 9486 people were awarded the Purple Star for war injuries (therefore, the 100th Battalion is called the "Purple Star Camp"), 559 were awarded the Silver Star, 4000 were awarded the Bronze Star, and 7 times were honored by the presidential forces.
