Twin brother and sister Jenny (Melissa de Sommons-Pauline M é lissa D é sormeaux-Poulin) and Simon (Maxim Goldt Maxim Gaudette) receive the will of their late mother Naval (Lubna Azabo Lubna Azabal), but after reading the content, the two siblings find it difficult to accept such a will: one is written to their father, who has never been masked. One was written to her third child-they didn't know the brother existed. The film skillfully travels in two different time and space: the mother spends her whole life searching for her eldest son, and the sister and brother follow their mother's will to go to the Middle East to find their father and brother. But the poorer they are, the more confused they are and the shocking truth they face. This film is adapted from the play of the same name by the famous Canadian French writer Wakidi Muawad. Director Dennis Villenueva was nominated for best foreign language film at the 83rd Academy Awards.
