LONG WAY DOWN, a TV documentary about motorcycle travel between Ewan McGregor and his friend Charley Boorman, went on sale on December 3, UK time. Ordering from Amazon "Long Way Down is an amazing journey, and it is a real privilege for us to experience these beautiful places with very different styles." Ewan said after arriving in Cape Town, looking back on the entire journey. In May 2007, they drove BMW R1200GS motorcycles from John O'Groats, Scotland, the northernmost tip of the UK. It took them three months and more than 24140 km to travel through 18 countries and arrived in Cape Town, South Africa, the southernmost tip of the African continent, Milnerton. During this great trip, the two are also responsible for promoting and raising funds for three public welfare organizations, namely, UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund), CHAS (Scottish Children's Shelter) and Riders for Health. Although they encountered more difficulties than "Long Way Round" three years ago.
