Annie (Sarah Polley), a cleaner under the age of 24, is diagnosed with cancer and has only two to three months to live. Annie's husband is the first and only man in her life. Her husband allowed her to give birth to a daughter at the age of 17 and 19, respectively. Her jailed father was unable to provide shelter for her, and the relationship with her mother was not very good. The family of four lived in a trailer. Fortunately, her husband recently got a job building a swimming pool. Anne decided to hide her illness from her family and wrote ten wishes before her death, including finding another man who loves her, preparing a message for her daughter's future birthday, meeting her father once and enjoying the rest of her life with a stepmother. Annie ran into a surveyor returning from Alaska in the laundry room, and the two fell in love with each other. But she failed to introduce her female colleague who was full of diet plans to her husband, and soon a female neighbor of the same name arrived, and she seemed to be the ideal candidate for Anne. Everything is happening step by step, and Annie's death. This film won many awards such as Best Canadian Film at the 2003 Atlantic Film Festival.
