Spiral (1998)

With an unbearable look back on the past of Mano Ando (acted the role of Hiroshi Sato) received a phone call from a colleague Miyashita (he saw Chenwo) early in the morning, and learned that his good friend Takayama Takayama (Hiroshi Mada) died accidentally when he was a student at the University of Medical Science. Ando performed an autopsy on Gao Shan's body, ruled out the causes of suicide and homicide, and found that his friend died of a myocardial infarction. Under the arrangement of the police, he met Takano's lover Takano (Miki Nakatani), but heard the story that his friend was killed because of a videotape. Ando naturally won't believe the illusory conjecture, but a few days later, Takayama's ex-wife Reiko Asakawa (Matsujima Caiko) and her young son also died in the car accident, and the broken VCR in the damaged car caused Ando's suspicion. Not long after, ASAC's boss, Yoshino (played by Matsu Chongfeng), came to visit and told all the truth about Zhengzi and the curse videotape. Ando's fate has changed as a result. This film is based on the original work of Suzuki Koji of the same name.
