The story takes place in 480 BC, when shrewd Persian soldiers, led by King Xerxes I of Persia (played by David Farrell David Farrar), march menacingly towards Greece, while King Leonidas of the city of Sparta (Richard Egan Richard Egan) leads three hundred warriors and four thousand allied troops to guard the front line of the hot spring pass. The betrayal of the traitor turned Leonidas's army into a turtle in the urn. In a hurry, Leonidas ordered the coalition troops to retreat, and led himself to fight alone with three hundred warriors to defend the hot spring pass. In the face of the endless procession of the enemy, Leonidas and his warriors already knew the end of the battle, however, they were not timid, but they were particularly high because of their single opponent. After two days and two nights of life-and-death struggle, the Persian army suffered heavy casualties, and the three hundred Spartan warriors were buried in the hot springs.
