The Company You Keep (2012)

On the surface, James (Robert Redford Robert Redford) is just an ordinary middle-aged man, but in fact, a dark history makes him still the subject of FBI chase and investigation. For decades, James had to remain anonymous and cut off all ties with the past in order to live a quiet life. By accident, journalist Ben (Thea LaBeouf Shia LaBeouf) discovers James' whereabouts, and he immediately devotes himself to the investigation of James, who has always dreamed of getting ahead. Finding that his secret had been leaked, James had to take action. He visited his former companions, hoping to prove his innocence through their testimonies. At the same time, as the excavation deepened, Ben gradually discovered that what he thought might not be true.
