The story takes place in Australia in the early 20th century and is based on the inland development of early Australian immigrants. As an adult, Maggie married a husband who did not understand amorous feelings and worked hard, and the two met again because of fate, but they had to be separated because of secular pressure. From then on, Ralph secretly took care of Maggie and her two children. The Cleary family has also undergone a series of changes in more than a decade.
