Scorching Sun 2 is a drama released in 2010, directed by Nikita Mikharkov and starring Ingerbauga da Kunnett and Vladimir Ilein. The film tells the story of General Kotov being recruited by the army to the front as a private volunteer. On the battlefield, he attacked the German army mercilessly. Convinced that his wife and daughter had died in the labor camp, he chose to stay with his comrades-in-arms and continue to fight. In fact, his wife and daughter survived. Daughter Nadia, who has grown into a war nurse, is convinced that her father is still alive and is looking for him despite difficulties and dangers. In 1943, Stalin ordered the KGB's main leader, Askentif, to be in charge of Kotov's arrest and conviction.
