Young Puerto Rican girl Amaris (Rosalie Sanchez Roselyn Sanchez) learns to dance with her father, who used to be an excellent dancer, who is paralyzed in the lower body and no longer looks what she used to look like, while she works in a restaurant and has no place to display her dancing talents.
