Dark Passage (1947)
Parry (Humphrey Bogart Humphrey Bogart), who is accused of killing his wife, insists he is innocent and escapes on the way to prison, where he intercepts a passing car and asks the driver to take him to San Francisco. However, the driver recognized him as a criminal and wanted to turn him in. Parry knocks the driver unconscious and, with the help of a strange woman Irene (Lauren Bacall Lauren Bacall), evades the police and comes to Irene's home. It turns out that Irene's father was mistakenly convicted of killing his wife and died in prison, so she has been following Parry's case. Parry went to find his friend, and the taxi driver on the way recognized him and introduced him to a plastic surgeon. With the doctor, Parry underwent plastic surgery, but when he returned to his friend's home, he found his friend died unexpectedly. He immediately became a suspect. Can Parry, who is burdened with two murders and "reinvented", be victimized, and who is the real killer?
