Lore (2012)

LORE Lola is the nickname of the protagonist Hannalore (Saskia Rosenthal Saskia Rosendahl). The story takes place in Germany shortly before the end of World War II. Lola was born a privileged girl whose father was a senior SS officer who had executed a large number of Jews and innocent citizens in Belarus. Lola and her sisters knew little about what happened to the Jews, and she was even an honorable member of the Hitler Youth Army (Hitler Youth), full of reverence for the Nazi faith. Now that Hitler is dead and Germany is in ruins, Lola begins a painful and profound adult experience. The film won four awards for best picture, actress, photography and best soundtrack at the 2012 Stockholm Film Festival in Sweden.
