The Hurt Locker (2008)

After the US military invades Iraq, staff Sergeant Williams James (Jeremy Reina Jeremy Renner) is transferred to the Army's fugitive bomb squad to replace a colleague who has just died on a mission in Baghdad. The other two members of the bomb squad, Petty Officer Sanborn (Anthony McKay Anthony Mackie) in charge of communication, and Special Forces Owen (Brian Geratti Brian Geraghty) in charge of cover are quite disgusted with the emotional Williams. However, in the bomb disposal operation of the United Nations building, Williams, who resisted the order to forcibly dismantle the bomb, was praised by Colonel Rhett (played by David Morse David Morse). During a warehouse bomb disposal mission, Williams believes that the Iraqi boy used as a body bomb is Beckham (Christopher say Christopher Sayegh) who sells pirated DVD he knows in the barracks. The death of little Beckham made Williams even crazier, leaving the barracks and going to the city alone to investigate. This film won the 82 th Academy Award for Best Picture, Best Director, Best original Screenplay, Best Editing.
