The Worst Witch (2017 - 2020)
Jill Murphy's "The Worst Witch" series, which was one of the best-selling children's fantasy novels before the publication of Rowling's "Harry Potter" series, was adapted into a movie in 1986 and a TV series in 1998. In 2016, CBBC decided to restart the show and move the story to the 21st century. The story tells the innocent and lively ordinary girl Mildred Hubble enters the witch college, studies various magic courses, and strives to become an excellent witch. The dean here, Ms. Cackle, is affable, and the vice dean, Ms. Hardbroom, is frighteningly strict. Mildred met two good friends Maud Spellbody and Enid Nightshade in college, as well as his old enemy, Ethel Hallow, who came from a wizard family. In May 2016, CBBC announced the casting results, with Mildred Hubble played by Bella Ramsey. The first season will be filmed in summer 2016 and broadcast in early 2017. ...
